About me: Jo
Hi, I’m Jo, and I’m so glad you’re here! Jo Buckley Photography was born out of a dream to combine my love for photography with the flexibility and freedom to build the family life my husband Luke and I envisioned. After our wedding, I took a leap of faith and turned my passion for photography into my own business—my first “baby” before we even started our family.
Knowing we wanted to have children one day, I naturally gravitated toward newborn photography. I wanted to develop my skills to capture those fleeting, precious moments not only for my clients but also for my own family. To perfect my craft, I traveled to London to train with one of my photography idols.
It wasn’t long before Luke joined the business, and the dream team was created! Many spouses say, “I could never work with my other half,” yet Luke and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Together, we’ve poured our hearts into building Jo Buckley Photography, and we’ve mastered the art of creating stunning newborn sessions that families cherish forever.
I’m a true believer in manifesting your own dreams, and I’m so grateful to be where I am today. Building this business has been an incredible journey, and I feel so lucky to do what I love every day—capturing life’s most precious moments and helping families preserve memories that last a lifetime.
About Me: Luke
Hi, I’m Luke! Although I’ve been with Jo from the very beginning, supporting her as she built her dream business, I took the leap in 2016 and left my full-time media marketing job to join her full-time.
I’m definitely not the lively, energetic one—that’s Jo’s department! I’m the tech-savvy, creative half of the team. When I’m not behind the computer editing, you’ll usually find me making something with my hands. Whether it’s painting tree stumps, 3D-printing strawberries for cake smash sets, or framing a client’s portrait, I love bringing ideas to life.
There’s no better job satisfaction than revealing your creative efforts to clients and seeing the appreciation light up their faces. Knowing that something I’ve helped create will be treasured for generations to come is what makes this work so rewarding.
About Me: Elsie
Hi, I’m Elise, and I’m Mum and Dad’s special helper! They have me doing all sorts of fun things around the studio—painting backdrops, modeling, and even blowing up balloons. My favorite part? Chasing those balloons around the studio while Mum and Dad set up for a little one’s cake smash session!
As you can imagine, our home is full of family photos. Did you know that displaying family photographs where children can see them regularly creates a sense of belonging, importance, and security? It’s true—and it can even help boost children’s confidence!
My absolute favorite photographs are the ones where my mummy and daddy are in them too. So, if Mum asks if you’d like to hop in for a few photos together, please say yes! I just know that the photos with all of you will be the ones your little one will cherish the most as they grow. 💕

Our studio is based at Krowji Creative space in Redruth just off the A30. There is plenty of parking on site along with a cafe called The Grow Box. If you get peckish during your newborn session feel free to grab a takeaway, their food is delicious!
