Every year around September time we start to think about our photography sessions for Christmas. In past years we’ve held both Glitter Sessions and Winter Wonderland sessions at our studio, we’ve loved these sessions over the past few years especially the Winter Wonderland that produces some beautifully bright and crisp photographs. The Winter Wonderland sessions in particular embody White Christmas, it's elegant and timeless and we will definitely be doing them again in the coming years.
However, this year we wanted to create something that was more of a magical experience for the children, something that made you feel all warm inside, something with atmosphere and warmth and was that little bit more Christmassy. Our Santa’s Mail Room experience was created around the question. "Where do letters to Santa go?” To the North Pole sorting office of course.
This year has been a difficult year for us and many small businesses around the county. Now in our second lockdown with the studio doors closed once again, we are really looking forward to seeing all you lovely families for our Santa’s Mail Room experience. As well as taking photographs during the session the idea is that your child/children will take the time to write their Christmas wish lists, seal them up and pop them into Santa’s post box. As part of one of the packages we are also including a personalised video message from Santa Claus to your child.
Of course with the current situation we find ourselves in it's important to mention the steps we are taking to keep you and us safe during your session in our studio. We've put together a list of Covid-19 precautions and you can find them HERE at the bottom of the page.
We originally set one date for the sessions and because it was so popular we’ve decided to add another. Saturday the 12th of December is the next available date for Santa’s Mail Room and we couldn’t be more excited. Santa’s Mail Room, it’s one of our best creations yet, so much so that we had to get matching Christmas pyjamas for a family photo with Elsie our own little Elf.
The original sketch and idea for Santa's Mail Room. I think we got it pretty close!
Have a wonderful Christmas.
