Tell us about your business…what do you do?
Lottie & Lysh create fresh, fun & funky fashion for children and babies aged 0-6years. All our clothing is ethically produced in house on the coast of Cornwall.
What makes your business unique/special?
In what way have you gone above/beyond in the past for a customer? All our items are fully customisable. You can choose your own fabrics and adapt sizing to suit. We have made lots of adapted items in the past to accommodate feeding tubes, casts and even tiny 2lb babies.
What are you passionate about outside of your business?
When I’m not working a enjoy spending time with my family. Days out with the kids, surfing or easting out in one of Cornwall’s many epic restaurants.
Describe your perfect day?
My perfect day would include waking up to a beautifully sunny Summer’s day, spending time enjoying breakfast with the kids before setting off to work. My favourite days at work are the days when we have full house of staff. We have such a laugh here, it never feels like work and is more akin to spending the day with your mates at school. We love developing new products so we’d would spend the day testing new techniques and fabrics before heading off to the beach bar on Fistral for a sunset coffee whilst the kids play on the beach or go surfing. Heading back home the kids will be tucked up in bed whilst we settle down with a good film or an episode of Sewing Bee!
What other local business to you love and why?
We adore The Slope on Great Western Beach. The food and atmosphere are amazing, the beach is beautiful, and the kids love it there. We also love to pop down to our local The Mermaid on Porth Beach. It is perfect for a quick drink whilst the kids play in the sea at high tide. The Treehouse play and arts café that has just opened in town is incredible. Amazing activities for the kids to take part in and super tasty food. Well worth popping by if you are in the area.
What’s your favourite biscuit!?
Try as you might you simply cannot beat a custard cream!
