A couple of weeks ago we had a lovely opportunity to photograph in a place called Roskorwell Farm. Roskorwell Farm is home to Cornwall’s first lavender field located on the Lizard peninsula.
The smell was amazing and the beautiful lavender provided the perfect backdrop for some stunning portraits, of course we took the opportunity to take some photographs of our very own baby, little Elsie. Time really does go by so fast and I cant quite believe we have a five month old baby already. She’s changed so much, looking back at her Newborn Photos I’m so happy that we have these beautiful images to treasure forever.
The lavender was harvested a couple of days after our visit so we were extremely lucky to use the location. We are hoping that next years crop will provide another stunning backdrop for any families that like the look of lavender, its summery, bright and vibrant, perfect for capturing families and little ones exploring and having fun.
Location sessions are a great way to capture your family, especially if you’ve missed you session due to the pandemic. Due to them being outside they are extremely safe, just keep your fingers crossed for good weather.
